I had the opportunity to study at the Penland School of Craft during their Spring Concentration of 2019. I took an Iron class with David Harper Clemons, making work from metal - a brand new medium for me. Our work included forging, welding, the use of various metalsmithing tools and working in iron, copper, and pewter. It was amazing experience to learn from an expert and to expand my skills!
